1.      INTRODUCTION

1.1. This Cookie Policy explains when and why cookies are used by Fast Refund Co Ltd (collectively, “At Last”, “we”, “us” or “our”) on our platform, accessible via our own website, the websites of our partners and on the Android and IOS app store under the name “AT LAST” (the “Platform”), associated advertisements and related services, including emails, newsletters, and on certain partner websites that we do not own or operate but with whom we have agreements. Our cookies help us to provide a good experience to our users when browsing, and also allow us to improve the functionality of the Platform.

1.2. Please read this Cookie Policy carefully and alongside, and in addition to, our Privacy Policy, Merchant Terms and Conditions and Customer Terms and Conditions

1.3. By using the Platform, you confirm that you have read and fully understood our Cookie Policy and consent to our use of strictly necessary cookies as detailed in this Cookie Policy.

 2.      WHAT ARE COOKIES?

2.1. Cookies are text files, containing small amounts of information, which are downloaded to your browsing device (such as a computer or smartphone) when you visit a website, if you agree to their use. Cookies can be recognised by the website that downloaded them or other websites that use the same cookies. This helps websites know if the browsing device has visited them before.

2.2. At Last uses cookies to improve your experience of using the Platform and to improve our services. At Last has carefully chosen these cookies and has taken steps to ensure that your privacy is protected and respected at all times.

2.3. All cookies used by the Platform are used in accordance with current UK and EU law.

 3.      WHAT TYPES OF COOKIES DOES AT LAST USE?

3.1. At Last primarily uses strictly necessary cookies but may from time to time introduce session cookies and/or targeting cookies in order to allow At Last to build up information about its audience and provide you with a personalised service. You can turn off and/or disable specific types of cookies as detailed further below.

3.2. The type of cookies used on most websites can generally be put into one of six categories: Session, Strictly Necessary, Persistent, and Tailored Content. In order to provide you with the best browsing experience and to improve the Platform, At Last may use a variety of these cookies on the platform. You can find out more about the cookies we use below.

3.3.  When you use the {ask james what we're calling the at last dashboard}, for any non exempt cookies we will present you with a dialog that allows you to opt in or out. Giving consent allows us to provide a better experience and service to you. You may, if you wish, deny consent to the placing of the cookies; however, certain features of the {whatever we are calling it} may not function fully or as intended.

3.4.  SESSION COOKIE: Session cookies are temporary cookies that remain in your browser or device until you leave the site. For example, they allow us to remember what us in your basket as you browse the Platform. They are then deleted from your device once you leave the Platform.

3.5.  STRICTLY NECESSARY COOKIES: These cookies are essential, as they enable you to move around the Platform and use its features, such as accessing secure areas. Without these cookies, some operations of the Platform, such as viewing and managing returns, can't be provided.

3.6.   PERSISTENT COOKIES: Persistent cookies remain in your browser or device for much longer - they remain there until you delete them or they reach their expiry date, depending on the cookie. These may, for example, be used to remember your preferences when you browse or return items frequently with a specific brand using the Platform, recognise you on your return, and enhance your experience on the Platform. Use of a persistent cookie may be linked to personal information while interacting with an account registered on the Platform, such as when you choose to store your usernames so that you do not have to enter them each time you access your account. A persistent cookie will be stored on your computer, which is linked to your account information. If you reject the persistent cookie, you may still use the Platform but you will be limited in some areas of it and you may not receive the full personalised experience.

3.7.   TAILORED CONTENT COOKIES: Tailored content cookies help the Platform provide enhanced features and display content in a way that is relevant to you. These cookies help the Platform determine what information to show you based on how you have used the platform previously. These cookies do not track your browsing activity on other websites.

 4.    HOW LONG WILL COOKIES STAY ON MY BROWSING DEVICE

The length of time a cookie will stay on your browsing device depends on whether it is a "persistent" or "session" cookie. Session cookies will only stay on your device until you stop browsing. Persistent cookies stay on your browsing device until they expire or are deleted.

  5.    FIRST AND THIRD PARTY COOKIES

5.1. First party cookies are cookies that belong to us, while third party cookies are cookies that another party places on your browsing device through the Platform. For example, a third party website will place a cookie on your browsing device if you click on the third party website link when browsing the Platform.

5.2. At Last provides a service to various third party brands which use our Platform to facilitate customer returns (“Merchant”). These third parties may use cookies on the Platform as part of the services we provide in partnership with them, for example when you process a return with a Merchant using our Platform. Other third parties who may use cookies on the Platform may also include, for example, advertising networks and providers of external web traffic analysis services such as Google.

5.3. Whilst At Last make every effort to ensure the protection and respect of your privacy, we recommend that you read and understand the cookie policies of the third parties that we partner with if you have any concerns or queries.

5.4. To deactivate the use of third party cookies, you may visit your account preferences page to manage the use of these types of cookies here.

  6.    HOW TO CONTROL AND DELETE COOKIES THROUGH YOUR BROWSER

6.1. The browser you are using to view the Platform can also enable, disable, or delete cookies. To do this, follow the instructions provided by your browser (usually located within the "Help," "Tools" or "Edit" facility). Please note that if you set your browser to disable cookies, you may not be able to access certain parts of the Platform, for example to use the functionality of the Platform to save preferences. Other parts of the Platform may also not work properly.

6.2.  You can find out more information about how to change your browser cookie settings at www.allaboutcookies.org. Please be aware that if cookies are disabled, not all features of the Platform may operate as intended.

  7.    DOES THIS POLICY CHANGE?

We may change this Cookie Policy at any time. Please take a look at the date at the top of this page to see when this Cookie Policy was last updated. Any changes in this Cookie Policy will become effective when we make the revised Cookie Policy available on the Platform.

  8.    DO NOT TRACK RESPONSE

Certain web browsers may allow you to enable a "do not track" option that sends signals to the websites you visit indicating that you do not want your online activities tracked. This is different from blocking cookies as browsers with the "do not track" option selected may still accept cookies. Right now, there is no industry standard for how companies should respond to "do not track" signals, although one may be adopted in the future.

We hope that this policy helps you understand our use of cookies. If you have any further queries, please contact us at [email protected] and be sure to include “Cookie Policy” in the subject line.
